Cross Canada is a Health Canada licensed manufacturer of medical devices, and its Tromner Neurological Reflex Hammer with pointed end and built-in brush is a versatile 3-in-1 dual mallet-type reflex hammer with a third testing device at the base of the handle. It’s handcrafted and designed for eliciting myotatic, cutaneous and superficial responses in adult and pediatric patients.
The balance-weighted head of the Cross Canada Tromner Neurological Reflex Hammer is outfitted with large and small mallets, constructed of soft silicone for precise percussions, less practitioner effort and greater patient comfort. The larger mallet is used for stretch reflexes, while the smaller mallet is used to elicit percussion myotonia.
The weighted handle is precisely balanced for increased control of force for percussion. The handle is optimized for comfort and crafted for exact movements.
The pointed Babinski-style tip at the base of the handle elicits superficial or cutaneous responses, including plantar and abdominal reflexes.
